freshfeed.pl: mix multiple RSS enclosures by publication date
A perl script that produces an aggregated RSS file containing a number of the most recent enclosures from the list of RSS feeds found in the input OPML sources. OPML sources can be file or URL based, and multiple sources can be specified in a simple input file, one source per line. See the EXAMPLES section in the documentation for more details. The idea is that this script can be used to create an RSS feed for podcast-style content where "freshness" is the main point of the feed. It can also be used to provide a "mixed feed" from multiple sources, thereby enabling syndication of recently published podcast content. Note that the script is enclosure-centric. Its designed for podcast syndication.
