2. MVW Countdown
|
If you love simple, or just like to have some more Flash on your site, then this is the option. Sure, its not the best, and its not the most original, but who cares. Its 100% customized anyway. Documentation inside the file. Online with PHP the script is server-based, offline or with PHP disabled the script is client-based. It also contains a fully editable FLA file for creating your own Flash counter. Have fun... Also included is an event file to count down to the release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, which only works until September 13th 2005.

5. Eventive
|
Eventive is similar to a shoutbox, only, instead of entering a message users enter an event and the script then displays how long is remaining until that event on the page the script is on (designed to be viewed in a iframe), It is easily customiseable via CSS and displays different messages depenging on whether the event is today, tomorrow, yesterday or sometime in the future.

6. Bizzar PHP GD Countdown
|
This script requires a webserver that has GD already enabled and you can have your own PHP GD countdown! Visit BizzarScripts.net for an example of what it can do. You can change the variables to select a date, as well as change the background image to suit your needs. I wrote this for my HL2 site, www.hl2empire.com and it works really well. I included instructions for converting it to a PNG file and using that in a forum that doesnt allow PHP.

7. The Pregnancy Script

The Pregnancy Script is meant to allow pregnant women to provide automatic weekly pregnancy updates right on their websites. The script announces a pregnancy, tells the name and gender (if specified) of the baby, counts the weeks of the pregnancy and the days until the due date, and provides weekly information on fetal development.
