5. Listfiles.php
|
Just throw this script up in a directory and it will show you a clickable link to every file in that directory. You can search for filenames and itll show you all files with names similar to what you entered. You can also choose to only view images, and it will show you a clickable thumbnail of all images in the directory.

There are numerous multilingual websites on the internet, most large multi-national companies have websites available in a few different languages. However, the most of these sites provide links for different languages, following a link takes you to a different document for each language. I found this technique to be quite undesirable due to the problem of maintaining these static documents, a time consuming process with the developers having to synchronise separate copies of the website. Furthermore, considering the dynamic nature of my website, I was loathe to create a static copy just for the purposes of translation. What I needed was a dynamic solution. These classes provide a framework which can be used to create dynamic, multilingual websites. With this system in place translators can login to the site and translate sections of text. The resulting translations are instantly live making this a truly dynamic solution.

9. GMTT Recursive Directory List
|
By putting this in a directory, it will scan through all the sub directories and then list all the files and folders for you. It is now updated to show files in a tree structure, file sizes, the total number of files and the total size.

10. TotalIndex
|
TotalIndex v2.0 is an open source script that is designed to replace the simple, and boring default index page of a site which lists the files in an indexed folder. This script produces a stylish and organized view of the files and folders in an indexed directory. Any folder on your site (including subfolders) can easily be indexed simply by copying a single file to the highest level folder. This script comes with many icons for different file types as well as the ability to easily let the admin add custom icons and file type extensions to the system. TotalIndex comes with many preconfigured style themes to choose from. The script can be installed anywhere on your server and DOESNT require the use of a database.
