This script (and the explanatory text) allows you to create buttons and images that change when your visitors mouse cursors hover over them. It is useful for buttons that automatically depress and pop-up, menus and other image tricks.

Cookie Based Picture Viewer

This JavaScript allows you to have a large collection of images displayed. It uses cookies to determine which picture to view. To set up, you will need to modify the javascript include file last_month.js anytime you add or remove images. This picture viewer was created for the simplistic nature of adding more images, and running completely on the client side.

Book Flip slideshow

Book Flip simulates a page turning to reveal two images slides at once. Each slide can be linked, and furthermore, the slideshow supports both horizontal and vertical flipping. Very cool.

Pre-cache Images
|
|
|
The purpose of this script is twofold: To show the perceived performance enhancements of pre-cached images, and To show how to script continually rotating images. When this page loads, it automatically pre-caches four images that are immediately available in the right-hand pane. The idea here is that as long as the visitor is waiting for a page to load, all the images may as well be downloaded up front, allowing for instantaneous image access thereafter. Activating the checkbox turns on a function that continually cycles through all pre-cached images at five-second intervals.
