If you receive an email message from someone thats not on your approved list the system will move the message to a special holding database and send and email to the sender asking that they verify that there message came from a real person and not a Spam bot. 3. RubberwaLL Anti-leech File Protection
|
RubberwaLL provides a free watertight anti-leech solution for your site. All files sit in a password protected directory, which only the script itself has login permissions for. Upon receipt of a file request, the script checks the visitor has actually come from YOUR site, by examining the referer tag supplied by the browser. If they originate from your site, the script then logs on to the protected folder, and loads the requested file into server memory. It then feeds the file to the visitors browser directly, and completely transparently. What does this mean? It is impossible for users to see the real address of your files (as only the php script is able to access them, users must download them VIA the script), and even if they did get hold of it - they would be unable to obtain any files without the username/pass. Therefore, it is near impossible for your files to be hotlinked by any website except yours. All settings are written into an easy to read configuration file, which keeps the script blisteringly fast, and comes with a full readme. 4. Anti-Cache for Google, Yahoo, MSN,..

If you do not want that everybody can see your page like the search engine spider see it, looking thru the cache. You can disallow your pages to be in the search engines cache using meta. But in this case your page will not have a PageRank, and your website will not be at its best level in search engines. Then the only solution is to have your page in the cache and when someone is looking for your page cache on the search engine to redirect him to your main page. As we do not find any answer to this question (April 2005), we have decided to do a small javascript for that. Of course everybody do not have Javascript enable in the browser, but by this way you will have more visitors, all those looking the search engine cache. This script will also redirect to your main page someone who have recorded your page on its HD, if he does not have a Javascript protection for local pages integrated in the browser.
