1. Guestbook-Comment Script

This is a re-write of a quasi-chatroom script (also available on my site), simpler but a tad more elegant. Its intended purpose is to allow a topic-specific comment area on multiple pages of a site. Features display of posters country flag (based on an IP lookup coutesy at hostip.info), single file to install, easy to create multiple instances, flexible implementation.

4. Comment Form / Post Feedback Tutorial

Feedback is very valuable to not only the web designers, but to other visitors as well. This tutorial shows you how to create a script that will display comments from users, and allow users to post their own comments. The script is very secure because it converts HTML and Javascript to text. It allows the use of BBCode for user designated formatting. The script is written in PHP, and uses a MySQL table to store all the information. Can be used on an unlimited number of pages. Looks great, but styling can be changed by editing the css in the script. Easy setup.

I did this originally for a Bad Movie Website where visitors make comments on movies. This script can be adapted for any use such as comments on News Stories and Art. This script requires PHP and MySQL. About 50 smilies are included or use your own. Another feature of this script is that when more than ten comments, the last ten comments are listed with a link provided to View all postings.

6. my little comment script
|
A script with that visitors can add comments on webpages. It can be included in php files and html files. The comments are saved in a text file, so no database is required. Contains an admin script to edit and delete the comments.
