It allows you to index and reference your photography collection on multiple volumes (CD-ROMs, etc) and make parts of it available to general public or a restricted set of users. All managed through a web front-end.

Nimages

Nimages is a complete rewrite of the JCSid image gallery. Updated to be more secure and to add many requested features, Nimages now is installed through a web-based installation process, detecting many of the configuration options automatically. No more editing source files. Other features include: A users and commenting system; sorting images by name, date, and size; themes (extened templates); and MySQL support. Currently in Alpha Testing. Not all features working properly.

A photo/news gallery using text files as database. Includes the ability to create new albums, rate photos, post comments, upload news and more. Galleries can be public or private. Has a clickable list of users with statistical information on each user, supports setting limits to guest uploads, has batch and supports ftp uploads and gallery owners can turn off the news function and other functions. Supports themes and templates. A demo available at the authors site.
